He was spoiled, of course, by both sets of grandparents. Here's the rundown:
This is from our grocery shopping trip the day before his birthday. We were shopping for J's cupcake ingredients. We made really good coconut cupcakes, and they make a ton so I brought some to work, and then there were enough left over for our little family party. He LOVES to sit behind the steering wheel. Is he a boy or what.
After my FAVORITE dinner that my mom made us, we let Jackson have his first cupcake, probably the most sugar he's ever had. He double-fisted it, just like normal.
Dustin and I got J this little trike that we can push until he learns how to pedal himself. He loves it, but we have to make sure he puts his feet up instead of dragging them on the ground.
Once a present or two were open, J lost interest in opening them. We could have just gotten him one! Or maybe just the boxes and bows! We're going to have to teach him greed. :)
Thick as thieves, these two. Grandpa got J another Yankees hat, cuz he grew out of his first one. It makes me happy.
On the ride home, all that partying caught up with him, and he crashed. Can you blame him?
Woops this is out of order. Uncle Mark put together the trike, even though it took forever. Jackson usually will NOT let Mark put him down. He loves when Mark puts J on his shoulders and runs around. He thanks his cool uncle for the ride with a good pounding on his head.
