Catch Up

I feel like I am constantly playing catch-up these days! Between work, pregnancy, motherhood, etc, I feel like I never have time for anything (especially cooking, cleaning, or anything else domestic. Lucky Dustin, huh). Anyways, here are a few pictures to prove that we are all still alive (if only barely) and we're doing pretty well. Jackson LOVES Uncle Mark (or "Mike", as Jackson says it), and Mark is always up for some fun with Jackson, including feeding him stuff we would never dream of giving our rambunctious 18 month-old! In the picture above, Mark is giving J licks of a blow-pop. Gotta love uncles.This picture is just cute to me. My little guy loves to eat, eat, eat. Not 20 seconds pass after a big dinner before Jackson is begging for more "bites". But really I had to show this picture so that we can all agree on one thing: the hair. It was getting to be too much, right? We hated to say goodbye to those curls, but c'mon, his hair was in his eyes! It was out of control! So we cut it. For the first few days we were mortified. We couldn't stop thinking "what did we Do?!? His curls are gone!", but now we love it. When it's wet, or when we fix it you can still see little curls on the side, so not all is lost. He looks so big to us now. In the picture above you can also see his first major boo-boo. He fell at the park, and skinned up his nose. Poor guy!
